Sprachenkolleg für studierende Ausländer
Description
Sprachenkolleg is a school for foreign students that depends
on the Archbishopric of Freiburg.
Lodging
The Sprachenkolleg cannot offer rooms to the students,
but they have a list of rooms in the city where to lodge.
Academics
In the Sprachenkolleg, students who look for a vacancy
in the University can take a course of German for foreign
students (DSH). Considering that the students of the "Sprachenkolleg"
have almost the same rights than the university students,
the candidates to the application must fulfil the indispensable
requirements to be able to be admitted as university students.
At the end of each course there is a final exam. The final
exam of middle level 2 is carried out with the cooperation
of the section of "German as foreign language"
in the German Seminary of the Freiburg University and
is recognized as the German language for foreign applicants
exam by all the German universities.
Activities
The Sprachenkolleg offers to the students cultural and
social activities: videos, meetings, international folklore,
exhibitions, concerts, dances, and excursions.
