Sprachcaffe Düsseldorf – German School
Description
Düsseldorf is on the Rhine River in the northwest of Germany.
From the year 1159, the capital of North Rhine is a flourishing
commercial center. Düsseldorf have lots of industries
such as automobiles, glass, textiles and dresses and in
addition, it lodges the first German skyscraper, the house
Wilhelm-Marx, constructed in 1924. Düsseldorf is also
a center of art and culture very well-known by many galleries,
museums and theaters. Sprachcaffe
Düsseldorf - School of German is located in a traditional
house, constructed in bricks in the 19th century in an
idyllic and relaxed district, ideal for the concentration
far from the noise and the activity of the street. A visit
to the famous old center, called "the longest bar of the
world", only needs a stroll of ten minutes. Closely together
is the "KÖ", the avenue of the kings, with magnificent
stores, boutiques and their cosmopolitan character.
Academics Sprachcaffe
Düsseldorf - School of German offers the following
courses: holiday's courses (10 lessons per week), standard
course (20 lessons per week), intensive course (30 lessons
per week), individual course (2 weeks/5 days per week),
and cooking course (3 weeks/5 days per week). There is
a maximum of 12 students by group.
Activities Düsseldorf has several interesting museums, specially art museums. Three of the best ones are the Art Museum of Düsseldorf, the Collection of Modern Art of North Rhine-Westphalia (Klee, Kandinsky, Beckmann, Miro and Warhol) and the academy of Art. It is worth to visit the Museum Goethe Düsseldorf and the Institute Heinrich Heine. There are very good restaurants and bars in the old district. Excursions to the Baroque palace are made from Benrath and its park, Colony and Aachen, also to many lakes (the lake of Unterbach to sail and to practice surf) and a selection of castles in the environs of Düsseldorf.
